Can vs Will

The challenge of this challenge is NOT getting the 500 points a week you need. If you look at the mileage, pound and extra point conversions, you will see that it really doesn't take that many workouts a week to accumulate the required point totals. The challenge is diversifying your exercise program and incorporating NEW activities that you may not currently be doing. In creating this challenge one of my underlying goals was to encourage each of you to examine your current workout schedule and to ADD any missing elements. It is incredibly important that we train our cardiovascular and strength systems and that we balance that with flexibility and mind-body components. Many of us (MYSELF included), skew our exercise routines in one direction or the other, ultimately not allowing us to maximize the benefits we CAN achieve from all our time and effort.

So, the question is not whether YOU CAN or can't complete the challenge. The question is whether YOU WILL do what you need to do to adjust your routine in such a way that you incorporate all the elements of a balanced fitness routine. Each of you have the ability to conquer this challenge and to create a NEW and DIFFERENT routine for yourself that allows the benefits you receive from exercising to SOAR to new heights.
